Biography
Keith is an accomplished litigator who represents clients in a variety of labor and employment, general liability, and education law matters. Earlier in his career, Keith primarily represented public school districts which he provided legal counsel regarding their legal compliance and defended in litigation. Keith is experienced in motion practice, and he has argued before the New York State appellate courts. Of note, Keith has extensive experience in defending educational institutions from claims arising under the Child Victims Act.
Keith has represented clients in a wide range of federal and state administrative proceedings, including the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the United States Education Department Office of Civil Rights. Similarly, on behalf of his clients, Keith has conducted investigations into allegations of inappropriate behavior in the workplace.
Before entering private practice, Keith served as an Assistant Law Clerk to the Hon. Sanford N. Berland, Acting Supreme Court Justice of New York State, where he developed his proficiency in the intricacies of civil procedure. He earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.
