David Calvello is a partner in the New York City office and focuses his practice on complex litigation and insurance coverage matters.

Mr. Calvello earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Pace University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Pace International Law Review and received the New Rochelle Bar Association Award upon graduation.  He also competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria.  He received his B.S. from the University of Richmond with a double major in finance and political science.

Prior to joining BHS, Mr. Calvello was a partner at a litigation boutique in New York City, where he litigated nationwide class actions in the pharmaceutical sector.  He was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2019 to 2025.
