Brendaliz Minaya Ruiz



Brendaliz focuses her practice on a variety of litigation matters, including claims brought pursuant to the Child Victims Act, product liability, and complex high exposure insurance coverage disputes. Brendaliz also has experience in advising clients on employment matters including best practices, preventative measures, and the creation and review of risk-reducing policies.

Prior to joining the firm, Brendaliz worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the City of New York, where she defended complex civil matters alleging civil rights violations including actions pursuant to U.S.C. §1983.

Moreover, while attending Fordham Law School, Brendaliz pursued a concentration in International, Comparative, and Foreign Law. She also interned in the school’s Queens District Attorney Prosecution Clinic as well as the Walter Leitner International Human Rights Clinic. In addition, Brendaliz competed in trial advocacy competitions across the country as a member of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center and served as a Research Assistant at Fordham’s Neuroscience & Law Center.
