Ryan O’Keefe is an Associate in BHS’s New Providence, NJ office. Ryan is well-versed in handling all aspects of civil litigation both in and out of the courtroom. Ryan’s broad background in civil litigation includes defending and counseling businesses and public entities in a variety of matters including mass tort, product liability, premises liability, construction defects, property damage, motor vehicle accidents, consumer fraud, indemnification, subrogation, and other negligence and contract related matters.

Ryan has successfully defended manufacturers, distributors, and others in environmental disputes and toxic tort cases, including, but not limited to, matters involving asbestos, talc, mold, benzine, and PFAS. Additionally, Ryan represented businesses and educational institutions in matters involving premises liability, property damage, contract disputes, negligent supervision, discrimination, and other negligence-related matters.

Ryan obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Roger Williams School of Law. While attending law school, Ryan had the privilege of participating in the Veterans Disability Appeals Clinic, where he successfully represented disabled veterans in appealing the Department of Veterans Affairs’ denial of disability benefits for conditions incurred during their service to our country. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Montclair State University.
